A serious accident near Kennedy Friday morning.

Broadview RCMP are on the scene of the accident, which has closed Highway 9 from Highway 48, to the 711 grid road. Motorists can expect delays, and are asked to avoid the area while investigators are on the scene.

There is no word on how many vehicles were involved, or if there were any injuries. The investigators are expected to remain on the scene for several hours.
