A court appearance in Estevan Provincial Court Tuesday for two of the men facing charges in connection with the home invasion and homicide on January 4th in Weyburn.

Dominic Hawkes, 23, and William McLeod, 25, both from Weyburn, appeared before a judge in a special sitting at the Estevan courthouse.

Both men are facing charges of break and enter and committing assault, wearing a disguise during the commission of an offence, possession of a weapon for the purpose of committing an offence and possession of a firearm without a valid licence. Hawkes is also charged with possession of cocaine.

McLeod’s case was adjourned, and he will appear in Weyburn Provincial Court for a show cause hearing on February 19th,

Hawkes will have his charges spoken to in Weyburn Provincial Court on March 5th.
