The village of Creelman has been placed under a Precautionary Boil Water Advisory (PBWA).

The advisory came from the Saskatchewan Water Security Agency, after regular tests showed higher than acceptable levels of turbidity (particles in the water).

The notice means water should be boiled for a full minute before it is consumed, used to wash food, or for brushing teeth.

It is still safe to shower or bathe.

The advisory will remain in effect until further notice.
