Highway 6 is now open to traffic, but there is still some ice covered sections, and areas which are wet and subject to freezing. 

Highway 48 is open, after being closed earlier in the evening.

Highway 56 remains closed between Indian Head and Katepwa.

Highway 6, is closed from the junction with Highway 39 by Milestone to the junction with Highway 306. Witnesses have reported there is a semi jack-knifed near Milestone on Highway 39 blocking travel in both directions, and an SUV collided with a 3-ton truck at the turnoff to Wilcox.

Highway 48 now open, but winter driving conditions exist due to icy and slippery sections. The highway was closed due to multiple vehicle accidents.

Travel on Highway 35 north of the junction with Highway 48, through Qu'Appelle, to the junction with Highway 10 is not recommended at this time.

Highway 56, from Indian Head to Katepwa is also closed due to an accident. Emergency crews are on the scene of the accident.

The RCMP is advising there are no reports of serious injuries at this time and is urging to avoid highway travel if at all possible due to the conditions.
