Spreading a message of hope for those in need, a spiritual gathering is being held this evening for those affected by the recent Humboldt Broncos bus tragedy.

A non-denominational community prayer is being put on by the Weyburn Ministerial Association and Pastor Jay Song. He said all are welcome to attend.

"Those who want to pray for the people in Humboldt, as well as people in Weyburn, and those who are immeasurably affected by the tragedy that happened to the Humboldt Broncos," said Song.

Pastor Song encourages anyone who would like to find peace and comfort during this time, as well as spiritual counselling, to join the community prayer.

"I think this gathering will be a creative time for the local community to share love and caring minds," said Song. "This will be a warmhearted message to people in Humboldt that they are not alone."

The event runs from 5 to 7 p.m. at Crescent Point Place in the foyer.
