The RespectED program from the Canadian Red Cross is helping youth to 'imagine no bullying' and it's seeing results.

The South East Cornerstone Public School Division recently sent out bullying statistics for the division, noting that bullying incidents have been steadily decreasing since RespectED programs were initiated.

Luc Mullinder is the manager of corporate partnerships with the Red Cross in Saskatchewan. He said the message is getting through thanks to education.

"We roll it out with our Saskatchewan Roughrider partners, we train facilitators in the program so they can reach out to these students," said Mullinder. "We actually train students - we train student leaders in our youth symposiums and those student leaders are able to go out into their communities and affect countless amounts of kids."

The Canadian Red Cross has a goal of reaching every student with their 'imagine no bullying' by 2019.

The biggest fundraiser for RespectED, the Red Cross Day of Pink, is on February 28.
