The town of Radville has had a lot happening in 2018, particularly when it comes to infrastructure. The community recently finished work on upgrades when it comes to water, including the lagoons.

“We had an expansion on it, we added another cell, and the water treatment plant is finally done, and a complete upgrade, so we should be good to go for years,” said mayor Rene Bourassa.

There has also been work done at the old CN Rail station on Main Street in Radville. This has resulted in a slight bump in tourism for the year.

Bourassa also noted there is a special event planned to commemorate Remembrance Day in Radville a little early, with the community gathering at the CN Station on November 4th.

“It’s a reading of letters from local fallen soldiers, written home during World War II, and a display of the original letters, medals and pictures.”

The day will also include refreshments and a silver collection.
