The City of Weyburn and CUPE 90 reaching a new collective agreement. The deal announced by the union in a release Friday morning.

The union stated 90 percent of the membership voted in favour of the new deal, which is for four years.

The ratified agreement will see a wage increase in the first year and 1.5 percent increases in each of the three following years. All employees who are currently employed will receive retro pay back to the beginning of the deal, which is January 1st, 2017, according to the release.

The deal has yet to be ratified by Weyburn City Council, which is expected to happen on Monday.
