Country Thunder took place in Craven this weekend and this year it was true to its name, with a significant thunderstorm rolling through the area Saturday night.

Saskatchewan RCMP said they were busy assisting the on-site security and emergency services evacuate patrons from the concert bowl area and into shelter. The storm was short-lived, however, the area was hit with heavy rain, some hail and high winds. It also forced the cancellation of Tim McGraw's performance.

As of Sunday morning, RCMP responded to a total of 123 calls for service.

One impaired driver was located and arrested on the festival site, one minor assault was investigated as well as several cause disturbance and alcohol-related incidents. Minors consuming liquor remains an issue on-site, according to the RCMP.
