Crescent Point Place lobby to be assessed by engineer

A section of Weyburn's Crescent Point Place is under repair.

Part of the south side of the main lobby has been roped off after three wood joists that support the roof deck split on Monday.

The City of Weyburn said a local contractor will complete repairs to the area and a structural engineer is to visit the rink on Wednesday.

Doors leading to section ABCD will not be accessible during this time. Patrons can still use the lobby doors leading to the south hallway.

More details to come after city officials have met with the engineer.
