As a result of a drug trafficking investigation by members of the Weyburn Police Service, drug search warrants were executed, and at approximately 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 20th, members of the Weyburn Police Service assisted by members of the Estevan Police Service, Weyburn RCMP, Filmore RCMP, RCMP Canine, and members of CFSEU Regina executed search warrants at four separate dwellings within the City of Weyburn.

Seized during the searches was approximately one half pound of cocaine, a small quantity of Oxycontin, and $2,200 in cash. Also located and seized was stolen property and brass knuckles. The estimated street value of the seized drugs is in excess of $60,000.

Arrested was a 25-year-old male from Weyburn, and two Edmonton males, 22 and 17 years old.

The 25-year-old Weyburn Male is facing charges of trafficking cocaine, possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, proceeds of crime over $5,000, possession of stolen property under $5,000, and possession of a dangerous weapon.

The 22-year-old Edmonton male has been charged with trafficking cocaine, possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and proceeds of crime over $5,000.

The 17-year-old Edmonton male has been charged with trafficking cocaine, possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of Oxycontin for the purpose of trafficking and proceeds of crime over $5,000.

All three accused have been remanded in custody and will be appearing in Court tomorrow in Weyburn.
