Environment Canada releasing an extreme cold warning for the Weyburn area.

Temperatures could dip to -30 C with extreme cold windchills of around -42 C.

This warning stretches to surrounding areas in the southeast including communities around Estevan, Radville and Milestone.

The windchill will remain around the -40 C range Wednesday morning, as a west wind could reach 30-50 kilometres per hour.

A daytime high of -19 C is being projected for Wednesday afternoon, but the windchill will remain extremely cold around -35 C.
