The Weyburn Arts Council is bringing the Gifted art sale back in person again this year, just in time for people to get a jump on their Christmas shopping.

The ultra-local shopping experience is coming up next Saturday, November 13th, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

City Curator Regan Lanning said there will be a limit to the number of vendors this year, as it is a curated sale.

"We wanted to make sure that what we were booking and the works we were offering will be absolutely the best that we could find," she commented.

Last year, the event wasn't a go for in-person.

"It was virtual because we didn't have any guidelines yet," explained Lanning. "We are really excited to not be having to do that again. It went wonderfully, but how great is it to be able to be in person with people again?"

She says while admission is free, this year's sale will require some paperwork.

"We will be enforcing the current COVID restrictions and mandates," she noted. "That means all of our vendors and all of our shoppers will need to be vaccinated or have a negative test within 72 hours, as well as have a piece of ID on them."
