Students of Weyburn Comprehensive School's Entrepreneurship 30 class are taking part in Junior Achievement. Horace A. Moses started JA in 1919 to help young people learn about business. There are over 120 charters around the world including Canada. The WCS Entrepreneurship class were divided into three companies. Coast 2 Coast is making and selling drinks coasters, 'Balanced Jewelry' are selling handmade necklaces and other jewellery and Forevergreen make cement planters.

"Our Entrepreneurship 30 class is made up of about 27 people," explained Keyanna Swanson, President, Forever Green.

For JA the class pooled ideas and used a public survey to decide which three products were the most popular. The three companies were formed after results were totalled.

"Mrs Arnold helps us learn some of the basic things about running a company and how to run the different departments to everything like selling and production. We are not alone in this, we have a lot of guidance too."

Forevergreen has been selling their products for three weeks and will continue to sell until the end of the school year.

"It's going really well actually, we've made 60 planters and we have lots more orders."

There are two sizes of pots and a choice of plants which cost extra.
