Bennett Weger is at it for a second year in a row.

While the Weger family has been making headlines for years with their efforts to find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis, they're making tracks again this year.

Mike and Cara Weger's son Bennett, 10, is rollerblading again this year for the cause.

"Our whole goal for Cystic Fibrosis is to do 4,300 kilometres, for that's how many people are in Canada that have C.F.," explained Bennett, one of whom is his 16-year-old sister Teresa.

Bennett said his mom told him he should raise money for C.F. during last year's government-mandated isolation, and he said rollerblading was an easy way to help make a difference. Read more HERE

He shared how to join in on the efforts between now and June 15th.

"On Team Teresa (HERE), you could send out pictures on Facebook and you can also send out donations for Cystic Fibrosis," he said. Find that link HERE.

Through Bennett's challenge, and through various fundraisers including butter tarts and A Night Out for Cystic Fibrosis, which concluded in 2018, the Weger family has raised over $500,000 dollars for Cystic Fibrosis Canada since Teresa's diagnosis when she was two and a half years old.
