The Soo Line Historical Museum is hosting a Spring Into Tea event on Victoria Day, May 21. To celebrate opening day at the museum, the free event is open to the public and will include door prizes and more.

“There will be free admission and a scavenger hunt for the kids all day from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.,” said Kristen Smart, Summer Tour Co-Ordinator for the museum.

“From 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., we will be serving coffee, tea and juice in some of our vintage tea cups. And of course, what’s a tea party without some cake?”

Smart also helps run the Caboose Kids program.

“Our Caboose Kids program will be happening every Wednesday from July 4 until August 22. It will run from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.”

“You can come one day or as many days as you want. It’s the same activity every time, and we have an hour of fun and education train and caboose stuff to learn.”

The Caboose Kids program is free of charge but does require pre-registration to ensure space is available.

The museum is open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. through to the end of August.
