Last week's' Gifted' art sale was a huge success according to City Curator Regan Lanning. The art sale saw a wide variety of artists and art styles from paintings to pottery all the way to homemade chocolate and teas.

"Gifted is over for another year," said Lanning. "What a wonderful day that was I'm so thankful to the artists and the craftspeople in Weyburn who came out to support our local arts."

The exhibit "Masks We Wear", featuring photography by Sabrina Kraft are now on display at the Signal Hill Arts Centre throughout November and December.

"Art has a beautiful gift in that it can tackle topics that are hard to talk about in a way that talking, or movies or books maybe can't, so art is lucky in that way. It can do that. It can force those discussions and make you think about things,"  shared Lanning.

Artist registration is now being accepted for the James Weir Peoples Choice.
