The Weyburn Police Service is looking into an unusual case of mischief from the weekend. They responded to a report around 5:00 p.m. of eggs being thrown at a residence on Ash Drive.

Deputy Police Chief Rod Stafford with WPS explained it is something rarely seen this time of year.

“The egg throwing is not something we typically see,” he said. “Fortunately that’s reserved for more around Hallowe’en time, you know, the night or two around Hallowe’en you usually associate with that type of vandalism.”

Police say witnesses saw the eggs being thrown from a red Ford 150 pickup truck. There was no serious damage or injuries caused by the incident.

The WPS is asking for the public's assistance to identify the owner of the vehicle, as they want to see who had access to the vehicle at the time.
