The RCMP are asking the public to be on the lookout for a pair of trucks which were stolen in the Kipling area Sunday. There is no word, however, if the thefts are connected.

Sunday morning, Carlyle RCMP received a call about a vehicle being stolen from a farm south of Kipling. The truck is described as a 1995 white Ford F250 extended cab pick-up, with rust around the rear wells and having a missing running board on the driver’s side.

Also reported stolen were a number of tools, including a chainsaw, band saw and toolbox.

The victim is said to have seen the suspects leaving the farmyard heading west on Grid Road 711, with a dark blue GMC pick-up, which is believed to be involved, following.

Then, Sunday afternoon, the RCMP were called about a vehicle stolen from within the town of Kipling itself.

The truck is described as a green Chevrolet 1500, with Saskatchewan license plate 017 HRZ. Also taken was a number of tools in the shop.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the RCMP at 310-RCMP (7267).
