The Regens recycle bins are being moved to a new location in Weyburn.

"Instead of several different bins, theres going to be just the two." said Graham Fox, General Manager of Regens in Weyburn.

The bins are being relocated due to a request by the city, who asked for them to be moved on to Regens property. Fox agreed that it makes sense to have the bins closer to their facility.

This move makes it easier for the company to keep the bins and area around them clean and improves the monitoring of them too.

"We've got a nice fenced in area so that litter or anything blowing around is going to be controlled and we'll pick it and make sure it's clean as well," said Fox

One of the bins will be for only fibre materials such as cardboard and paper. The other will be a larger one with big open doors for other recyclable materials such as plastic, tin and glass.

Fox asks for the public to continue to use the bins in a respectful and appropriate way to help the recycling process run smoothly.

The new bins are only a block and a half away from the previous position on East Avenue, located at the Regens depot at 40-18th street.
