A Stoughton woman is facing several charges after an alleged attack on August 1.

Jasmine McWhirter was in Weyburn Provincial Court Tuesday to face charges of assault against a man, resisting arrest, and mischief, causing over $5,000 in damage to a police cruiser. She also faces breach of probation charges, breaking an order to keep the peace as well as being in possession of a knife.

McWhirter was remanded in custody until August 14 for a bail hearing in Weyburn Court.
