The City of Weyburn is advising there will be a temporary shut down at the Water Treatment Plant Wednesday. The shutdown is necessary as work is done to transition over to new facilities at the plant, part of the ongoing work with the new reservoir.

The shutdown is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. and is expected to last two hours.

The city is taking all steps to avoid a precautionary drinking water advisory or PDWA.

In the unlikely event the water services are interrupted, a PDWA may be issued, and the city will update the public immediately.
