The Regina Symphony Orchestra is coming to Weyburn.

The show starts at 7:30 p.m. at the Cugnet Centre on February 15. Tickets are available at the door.

"We have a pretty varied varied program I would say," said Music Director for the Regina Symphony Orchestra, Gordan Gerrard. "The first part of the program is a little more strictly classical in that sense, so we'll play a Mozart symphony and a very beautiful piece by George Butterworth. Then the second part of the program is a little more pop and Broadway inspired."

Gerrard has been the music director for this orchestra since July of last year.

"This year, since it is my first season, we thought it would be a way for me to introduce myself to communities outside of Regina." said Gerrard.

Gerrard noted that this trip has 25 members, which is a fairly large group to be travelling with.
