The Village of Fillmore has enacted some temporary water restrictions for its residents. The move comes as part of an effort to conserve the villages water supply as it is seeing a higher than normal usage.

Effective immediately, residents east of Main Street (Wilkin Street to Creelman Street) are to water on even days of the month. Residents on the west side of the village (Main Street to Taylor Street) are asked to water on the odd days of the month.

The Village office is asking watering to be restricted to the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m., as well as from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. As well, there is to be no watering on Mondays.
