It'll take more than just a police detective to solve a case, as the Weyburn Agricultural Society stages this year's dinner theatre presentation, "You Have The Right To Remain Dead."

The audience will be encouraged to help solve the case of a murder that takes place on the stage at the Royal Canadian Legion.

Tickets for the Friday and Saturday performances are no longer available, however it is still possible to get tickets for the dessert theatre Sunday afternoon.

The director, Christine Cooper, says the play is written by popular author, Pat Cook. "He's kind of a well-known playwright around here, because I know they have done his plays in the past. Yeah, audience participation, whodunit, really kind of keeps you guessing right until the end, and it's a lot of fun to put on."

"I'm not giving any clues away to anybody", she added.

Cooper has had fun working with cast, jokingly calling one of the male actors 'Princess'. "You should see the battles going on, on (Facebook) Messenger between the players" she said with a laugh.

The Dinner theatre begins with cocktails at 6:00m and the dinner at 6:30, on Friday, March 24th, and Saturday, March 25th.

The Dessert theatre performance 2:00 PM, on Sunday, March 26th.

Tickets for the Dessert theatre are available at the Weyburn Legion.
