The Weyburn Dairy Queen Miracle Treat day was a success Thursday. Money raised from Blizzard sales, paper balloons and donations all go towards an amazing cause.

"Our goal is just to beat the previous year," says Shelly Dammann, one of the owners of the Weyburn Dairy Queen. "All the money raised goes towards the Jim Pattison Hospital Foundation and all that money stays in Saskatchewan."

"Last year we sold 1784 Blizzards," adds Shane Dammann, co-owner of the Weyburn Dairy Queen.

By the day's end, the Weyburn Dairy Queen had sold 1796 blizzards, 12 more than the previous year for a total of $7713.83.

The Dammann's are thankful for all the support received on this year's Miracle Day.
