The Weyburn Fire Department will be completing some training around St. Michael's School Monday and Tuesday evening.

"They're going to be doing some search and rescue and things like that, some simulated live fire attack, you may see some ladder operations there, you may see our new ladder truck out and things like that," says Simon Almond, Weyburn Fire Chief.

The training will also include the Fillmore and Yellow Grass Fire Departments as well.

"We just want to make them aware that we're going to be in that area, if they see some lights and fire department activity and things like that, not to get concerned there is no emergency it's just training," says Chief Almond.

The Weyburn Fire Department is taking advantage of some buildings that will be demolished in the next few weeks.
