This weekend will be a busy one for the city of Weyburn.

"We're hosting the Fall Fire School in conjunction with the Saskatchewan Volunteer Firefighters Association," says Fire Chief Simon Almond of the Weyburn Fire Department. "We have 300 plus participants, that includes students and instructors."

There will be training courses and events, some of which the public will be able to view.

Chief Almond adds he wants to show off not only the Weyburn Fire Department but the City of Weyburn as well.

Besides the training there will also be a trade show, at the Weyburn Curling Rink, open to the public, to finish off the weekend on Sunday. The trade show is open from 11 a.m. to 6 p. m.
