The Therapeutic Animal Park is situated next to Tatagwa View Care Facility on the West side of Weyburn.

Throughout the year for the past three years, Don Sealy, Manager of the Animal Park with Doug Mokelki have been able to take care of the animals.

This year the Animals are being sold off because there is too much involved with the upkeep during the colder winter season.

Next Spring the animal park will be open again with animals donated to the park.

The animals which have already been sold include two male alpacas, ducks, chickens, hens and roosters.

There are still some animals available including a female pony, a mule, pot-bellied pigs, sows, boars and piglets.

Anyone who may be interested in buying any of the animals can contact Don Sealy at 306-861-7453 or Doug Mokelki at 306-861-3012.

The deadline for animal purchases is October 29th. The remaining animals will be taken to a Moose Jaw livestock auction.

The Animal Park was originally built on the Saskatchewan Hospital grounds in the 1970's.

Don Sealy has been in charge of the animal park since 1985, which is a non-profit organisation.

This year and continuing into 2018, Sealy and Mokelki are raising funds and working on cementing the rabbits home, building a birds sanctuary and fixing up
a storage trailer for an art gallery.

The animal park is also needing funds throughout the year to help pay for animal feed, general upkeep of the park and ongoing maintenance.
