Today the snow was blowing across the highway as the Magic 103 crew made their way out to the village of the winning Classroom of the Month for November! (VIDEO BELOW)
On July 5, 1937, during the great depression (and drought), Samuel Molberg recorded the highest temperature ever recorded in Canada at 45 °C in this village.
With the population of Midale being just over 560, it is in the village category, in case anyone was curious.
We walked into Midale Central and were greeted by several smiling students that were excited to see us.
Our winning Classroom of the Month was Mrs. Brittney Wild's Grade 1/2 Class and they were a blast!
We handed out personal pizzas from Boston Pizza to every child and they were super excited to dig into their tasty meals while wearing their BP moustaches!
We also handed out prizes from Bank of Montreal, Elite Kitchens & Decor, Dairy Queen and HSE Integrated!
And now every student in Mrs. Wild's class is entered to win an iPad from Absolute Computer Services at the end of the school year!!!
Thank you so much to Mrs. Wild, her class and the whole staff at Midale Central!
You all made us feel very welcome and were loads of fun to spend the day with! Happy holidays! (VIDEO BELOW)
