Did you know that the City of Weyburn has a collection of art in the basement of City Hall?  It's the Permanent Collection.  A couple times a year, Curator Regan Lanning ventures down there to pull art for themed shows at the galleries in town.  Recently, Regan invited Weyburn Arts Council members to check it out and help select pieces for the May/June show at the Allie Griffin.  Perfect opportunity to share with everyone this hidden gem!

There are some gorgeous pieces that the City has collected over the years in lots of different mediums and styles.  Three dimensional art in ceramic, wood, and metal; paintings in oil, acrylic, and water colour; drawings, prints, and so much more.
