It's a blur of red and white at the Weyburn Leisure Centre as Weyburn starts its celebrations for Canada Day.

All walks of life have made their way to the Leisure Centre today and it is a full house.

The day started out right with a pancake breakfast at the pool, courtesy of the Royal Canadian Legion, followed by a flag ceremony by the Legion Colour Guard, and a cake decorated in Canada's proudest colours: red and white.

But the fun does not stop there!

Still on the agenda includes hands on crafts going on until 2:00 p.m. with help from the Weyburn Signal Hill Arts Centre.

Starting at 12:00 p.m. we have some spectacular entertainment, and free swimming from 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Before closing the books on this historic day you can mark it with a bang by making your way down to the Weyburn Exhibition Grounds at dusk, approximately 10:30 p.m. for front row seats of fireworks!
