While it is the middle of the week, it is a day in between semesters at Weyburn Comprehensive School, with the new semester beginning tomorrow.

This means there are no classes today - in fact, all of the schools in Weyburn have 'unassigned time' for the Southeast Cornerstone Public School Division and a 'System Leadership Day' for the Holy Family Roman Catholic Separate School Division. 

Classes resume tomorrow across both divisions, with the one-day strike day set out by the Saskatchewan Teachers Federation not affecting our community as it is on a rotation. Read more HERE.

There is also no programming at the Family Place today, but their playroom is still open for free during regular hours.
