Fall is OFFICIALLY here and that means Weyburn Special Events is gearing up for their annual Festival of Leaves Craft Sale and Trade Show!

"We've got vendors that offer everything for the entire family," said Lisa Vick, with Weyburn Special Events. "Bring the kids, bring the husband, everyone can come in and shop and see what they have."

With over 60 vendors signed up the show will run at the Weyburn curling rink Saturday, September 23 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a $3 admission.

Vick noted that, as is the case with many of her events, she is in need of volunteers.

"We ask for volunteers or organizations that need funding to provide help with the table set up, working the door, helping our vendors carry in their boxes, stuff like that," she said. "I'm offering a donation to your organization or if there's high school kids that want to get those volunteer hours out of the way they can shoot me an email and we will set it up so they can help us out."

Along with the trade show, Weyburn Special Events has also planned a used clothing sale in the curling rink the very next day from 11-4. The sale will feature clothes from Weyburn residents and is free to attend, although they do ask for donations to Salvation Army or the Weyburn Humane Society, who will also be on hand running a fundraising barbecue.
