Going Green, it's a phrase that is heard almost everywhere you go.

The Ministry of Environment in Saskatchewan has approved funding for alternate energy technology from Titan Clean Energy products.

Billy Jo Morrisette from the Ministry of Environment says Titan is producing bio-massed brickets which will replace coal.

Morrisette adding there are plenty of innovative companies throughout Saskatchewan who are thinking of different ways that they can go green.

Last year, the province double the amount of Going Green funding to 17.5 million dollars.

Morrisette says they are figuring out ways to spend the money, so they will be working with companies and communities to go over ideas to move forward on protecting the environment.
