Some appearances related to the January 4th homicide were in Weyburn Provincial Court today.
Kegan R. Muxlow's case was before the court this morning. The 24-year-old is facing second-degree murder charges in connection with the shooting death of 18-year-old Nathan Hutt in January.
Muxlow, who was recently released from custody on bail, was not present in court but was represented by his attorney Darren Kraushaar via telephone. An adjournment was requested to allow the defence to go through disclosure with the Crown. Muxlow's case will be back in Weyburn Provincial Court on April 23.
Also in Weyburn Provincial Court this morning was William McLeod's case. The 25-year-old is charged with break and enter to commit assault and a number of other charges in connection with the January 4th incident. His case was adjourned until next Tuesday, where it is expected he will enter a plea.
Also appearing in court was 19-year-old Rebecca L. Larson. She is charged with obstruction of justice, accessory after the fact, and unauthorized possession of a weapon in connection to the home invasion and homicide investigation. Her case was adjourned to April 9 in Weyburn.
