One of the Saskatchewan border crossings from the United States is being closed, but just on the Canadian side.

The Canada Border Services Agency is closing it's Big Beaver Port of Entry on Highway 34, south of Moose Jaw next April.  It's a cost saving measure, they say only five people per day use the crossing because there's another one less than 30 km to the west at East Poplar on Highway 36.

Meanwhile, the US is spending 8.5 million dollars to upgrade their side of the crossing.
