Representatives from both sides of the border recently met in Great Falls, Montana, for a Border Community Roundtable.

Estevan MLA Doreen Eagles was in attendance and said they talked about police services, fire services, border commuinities as well as border securitiy, the need for passports and ways to make it easier for people to get through the border so it's not a major challenge each and every time.

Eagles says Saskatchewan's relationship with Montana is extremely important not only for trade, but tourism as well.

Other provincial representatives at the roundtable included Cannington MLA and Government Services Minister Dan D'Autremont and Enterprise and Innovation Minister Lyle Stewart.
