The weather has been quite warm in Weyburn and throughout Saskatchewan, causing people to flock to our provincial parks to enjoy the outdoors.

“People are coming out in droves to take in all those sunny days,” said Robin Campese, Executive Director of Visitor Experiences with Saskatchewan Parks.

Campese said while it has been busy, there are still campsites available in most parks. She added there is a useful tool on the SaskParks reservation website called Camping this Weekend.

“It will show all the campsites available in provincial parks for the upcoming weekend.”

Campese said a highlight from her summer was camping at Duck Mountain Provincial Park.

“My campsite actually overlooked the water, so I watched the sunset every night over the water. It was amazing.”
