Team Canada will be playing for a bronze medal at the Youth Olympics in Lausanne, Switzerland Wednesday morning. They fell 2-1 to Team USA in the semifinal Tuesday morning.

Weyburn’s Dylan Ernst is a goaltender on the Canadian team. He didn’t see the ice during the game against the Americans.

Canada is now waiting for the other semi-final to wrap up, between Finland and Russia, to determine who they will be playing for the bronze medal. Russia was in the same round-robin group as Canada and handed Canada a loss in the first game of the tournament. Finland finished the round-robin with a record of 1-1.
