Recent vandalism has the Carlyle RCMP department asking the public for any information that could lead to an arrest. 

On December 13, at approximately 9:20 a.m., Carlyle RCMP received a report of vandalism that occurred in a rural area south of Carlyle.

An investigation determined an unknown individual or individuals discharged a firearm, striking eight power transformers along Range Road 70, damaging them.

Investigators believe the vandalism occurred between the evening of December 12 and the early morning of December 13.

On December 13, at approximately 11:20 p.m., Carlyle RCMP received a report of a second vandalism.

The investigation determined an unknown individual or individuals discharged a firearm along Highway #603, south of Manor, striking and damaging four additional transformers. 

Investigators believe this vandalism occurred in the evening hours of December 13.

Power supply to some customers in the vicinity was disrupted as a result of these acts of vandalism.

Carlyle RCMP's investigation continues.
