The latest report from the Canadian Federation of Independent Business shows an improvement in farm optimism.

"For the first time in three years we're seeing our farm members optimism level above the national average. So this is good news its encouraging and its encouraging to see these optimism levels in an upward trend since mid 2009." explains Viginia Labbe, CFIB’s Senior Policy Analyst for Agri-business.

She attributes the improvements to the strength in the markets and livestock sector and even the prospect of change to the CWB.
