While the New Year is fast approaching, this year the Community in Action Facing Addiction will be hosting a final meeting before 2023 comes to a close.

“We decided to have a year-end meeting because it's a tough time of the year for a lot of people, so we just want to be there for those people that need that little bit of support,” said Susan Adderley. “We are a local group of women who have loved ones in either active addiction or have lost family members due to addiction. So, we just again want to say that if you feel lost or helpless and unsure what to do, we have all been there and we just want to offer a safe place for people to come and to talk and to get some support.”

The final meeting of the year will be held on Wednesday, December 20 at the Weyburn Public Library commencing at 7 p.m. and wrapping up around 8:20 p.m. Also available is attending through Zoom, the meeting I.D. number is 889631106311 and the passcode is CIA AD 23.
