The Weyburn Provincial Courthouse saw another appearance of a Weyburn man facing charges that include sexual interference, invitation to sexual touching, and sex assault against a female youth. These charges were laid in January of 2023. 

Legal Aid acted as agent for the accused's lawyer and said that there is a designation of counsel on file with the court. This means that the accused's lawyer can appear in court without him being present.

Legal Aid notified the Court that settlement negotiations are ongoing, submitting a waiver of delay.

The matter was adjourned to June 27th, 2023 at 9:30 a.m. at Weyburn Provincial Court, the 6th adjournment to date.
