Today is the second and final day of Blow Away Hunger!

Great Plains Ford has decked out the F-150 and it is about half full but we need your help. Bring your non-perishable food or cash donations to Great Plains Ford and meet our hosts from 9 am to 5 pm, for your chance to win a brand-new snowblower from Canadian Tire.

With the increase in inflation and the rising cost of groceries, more Canadians are experiencing food insecurity. Community Services Worker, Shannon Fodchuk from the Salvation Army, shared that the food bank has seen a 13% increase over the past year and gives away 10,000 pounds of food a month. Now that's a lot of food!

Owner/operator Mike Guest from Western Prime Meats said, "You know what? Hunger doesn't take holidays," and with that, Mike and his business partner Marni Gruber blew away hunger and donated $6000 of meat!

It's been a tough year for so many and a simple donation can go a long way to help those in need, canned, dry goods, and toiletries are all items that are needed.  Don't stall, gear up today and get down to Great Plains Ford and help us Blow Away Hunger!
