N-D-P Leader Lorne Calvert admits his party has a tough road ahead as it works toward a provincial election next week.

Votes go to the polls in the province on Wednesday.

A new poll suggests that the Saskatchewan Party has the support of 54 per cent of respondents, while the N-D-P lags behind at 34 per cent.

Calvert says he believes miracles can happen and will continue to work hard to get his party re-elected.

With one week before the Provincial Election, many candidates have been out talking to voters.

According to NDP Candidate for Cannington Henry Friesen, he's received particularly strong reaction to his party's proposed Universal Drug Plan.
