After a dump of snow to start the week, Weyburn is finally digging out from under the white stuff. About 25 centimetres fell on the city on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, according to Environment Canada.

Now that most of the city has been dug out and streets cleared, residents have been out enjoying the snow, with a busy toboggan run on South Hill this weekend.

Residents had best enjoy the snow while it lasts. The snow won't be sticking around for long, according to John Paul Cragg, meteorologist with Environment Canada.

"We are forecasting temperatures to get above zero beginning next week in the southeast of the province and not a lot in the way of precipitation on the way," said Cragg. "So, it's looking like it's going to be pretty nice conditions for the next seven days."

Environment Canada is forecasting a high of five degrees by Wednesday. See the five-day forecast HERE.

The first day of spring is March 20.
