Amery, Keagen, Amanda, and Aiden Spitzer took advantage of the warm weather this week by fishing at River Park.

After Weyburn set record lows just last week, the warm weather this week has been welcome and residents have been busy outside taking advantage.

Yesterday, Weyburn reached a daytime high of 25.7 degrees Celsius. That was just shy of the record, 26.2 degrees, set in 2006.

Today's forecasted high of 30 was barely broken, reaching 31 degrees at the hottest point of the afternoon.Β The warmest May 23 on record before today was 30.9 degrees, also set in 2006.
