Spring is finally making an appearance down here in the southeast corner of the province. We'll be seeing daytime highs this week in the 20s.

"Looks like it's going to be kind of a banner week, finally, we've got some very warm temperatures coming along," said Meteorologist with Environment Canada, Terri Lang.

She noted we have had a very wet April, but hope for things drying up is here.

"We are looking for temperatures starting to climb into the low 20s for the better part of the week Wednesday, Thursday and into Friday," she said. "So, the good news is they're dry as well, so helping to dry out those very wet fields out there."

Lang said there is some precipitation expected this weekend.

"Just sort of that showery type of activity. We are keeping an eye on a weather system for next week, but for now looks like a a beautiful week for the work week."

She added Monday things will be back down to the low-plus teens.
