The Weyburn Curling Club held its Annual General Meeting on Tuesday evening at the Weyburn Legion.

President Kristen Jarocki said they held it in conjunction with the Legion's Wing Night.

"We have a really great relationship with them, so we're happy to have worked with them for our our AGM along with their wing night," she shared. "So the turnout was kind of as expected. It's usually a smaller crowd, but we're happy with the ones that did turn out. We had a good representation from various leagues as well as our board and some. new board members."

She said a new executive wasn't elected, "as we didn't have quorum for our board to make those elections. So no changes as of this time."

Jarocki said the next step for their board is to prepare for registration into September and October.

"We're planning to start our leagues at the end of October, is generally when we get going, so keep an eye out for registration details and new league opportunities for everyone to join."
